As the preparations for departure were taking place, we were simultaneously conducting an outreach here in the Bonoumin sector of Abidjan.  For five nights and a Sunday morning service the good news of the Gospel rang out.  This church has grown incredibly under the care of Senior Pastor Rene Kpan. This is our home church in Africa. It was the first church we came to in 1997, on our arrival in Ivory Coast.  At that time the church was about 30 people strong and was meeting in Pastor Renee's living room.  It is now close to a thousand members with a very large facility.  In this 5 night meeting over 200 people gave their hearts to the Lord.  There were many wonderful testimonies of healing and deliverance.  A young woman had an operation for multiple fibroid tumors.  They took the largest ones, but many smaller ones were left.  As the remaining tumors started to grow, she suffered incredible pain for several years as well as abnormal bleeding that intensified.  After prayer the pain and tumors vanished and the bleeding stopped! There was much rejoicing in the Lord for all that He accomplished.
